This is my first set of
foundation cosmetic – BENEFIT HOW TO LOOK THE BEST AT EVERYTHING
It has three category specialise
for three tone of skin which is
- Fair
- Medium
- Deep
I owned the FAIR one. It give my
skin a very good bright tone but I am not so sure with the other category of
tone.
I bought it from Benefit store at
Gurney Paragon with RM110. No sale no promo, was just drop by randomly and feel
like trying a whole set of foundation cosmetic (As I am a very lazy person to
apply so many thing, I used to just apply a very thin BB cream or most of the
time apply nth lol)
Okay, let me introduce this
FLAWLESS COMPLEXION MAKEUP KIT
This is a very good set
especially for beginner like me or lazy me people (like me too. Hehe~)
Why?
There are some benefit and advantages
from this set and a little disadvantage too
I will start with the packaging
first.
It is a very nice and cute
packaging. It looks like a BOOK in pink color.
There are a TIPS & TRICKS
provided – the procedure and method to apply all the cosmetic in the kit
And a MIRROR!
For me, this is absolutely very
nice to have the tips&tricks guiding for the procedure
And of course the mirror. ** I
will always keep the plastic stick back to the mirror after-used in order to
keep it clean and I do not need extra time to clean it (you know, the mirror
always mess up with those cosmetic powder and end up a very dirty and unclear
mirror)
Okay then, the very first
advantage of this makeup kit is --- it consists of FOUR cosmetic which we need
to complete the face makeup. In this small “book”, we already owned
Primer – 7.5 mL the POREfessional
– PRO balm to minimizes the appearance of pores
Foundation – 7.0 mL HELLO
FLAWLESS OXYGEN WOW – “believe in me” IVORY – oil free, SPF 25 PA+++, non gras
Concealer – 1.3g lemon aid &
1.5g boi-ing 01 – duo color concealer
Loose powder – 4g “HELLO
FLAWLESS” – “I love me” IVORY
This is the reason why I say this
is a very good kit especially for beginner
- Before you get the whole size why not you try the smaller size first?
- And, for me, I don’t apply makeup too often and sometime my cosmetic might still leave a lot after the EXPIRY date. It is only 12months for both the POREfessional and Foundation; 6 months for the concealer and 24 months for the powder
- Then, with the tips&tricks, I may just follow it step by step, from 1 > 4
4 steps in mix & match the complexion perfectors for a flawless look...
THE POREFESSIONAL TIP - Apply to
moisturized skin to quickly minimise the appearance of pores & fine lines.
If pores come out of hiding during the day, pat on lightly OVER makeup &
blend.
**The POREfessional is actually a
fill-in pore function – that mean it MIGHT cause pore clog! So, a double
cleansing is so much so much needed! Remember to clean until your cotton is
clean
so, i'd only rate a 7 out of 10 points.
HELLO FLAWLESS OXYGEN WOW TIP –
apply to the center of your face and blend up & out to avoid telltale
makeup lines.
The foundation is a bit watery,
so about 1.5 pump is enough to cover the whole face.
7/10 points, because it is not bad and average good as it has bit watery but i guess it can use for qquite a long time.
LEMON AID & BOI-ING TIP – pat
and blend lemon aid on your eyelids to help hide redness & discoloration.
Dad boi-ing over dark under-eye circles & any imperfections.
The concealer is not that easy to stay on skin, so I actually use finger to apply
to be frank, it is not a very good concealer if you have a serious acne or very dark eye ciclee
but for normal user is still okay, just fine
because personally i am not tht perfectionist-type of person who need to conver up or conceal all the spots. still can be used haha~
but the duo-color part is good.
i'd only give a rate of 6/10 because the texture is not really satisfy for me.
“HELLO FLAWLESS!” TIP – sweep
over your foundation to seal in perfection! Or wear alone for a sheer. Natural
look.
The powder does not play a very
important role here, so sometime it can be skipped.
errr... this is actually a bonus for me. not really a very necessary one for me.
last but not least
customize your coverage. Smooth on hello flawless oxygen wow for a sheer, ultra-natural look; or pat on to build coverage.
PROS
- 4-in-1, a kit with all needed cosmetics
- Acceptable price, RM 110 [a whole size of any of each one cost around RM100]
- Tips&tricks, step by step, especially for beginner
- Non-greasy, suitable for any skin type
- Duo-color concealer, can blend into the original skin tone so the concealed part will not be so obvious.
CONS
- the POREfessional primer need a very serious removing procedure
- Really really small in size, not suitable for heavy user or daily user, and sometimes need to keep remind of yourselves to not to use too much or save it a bit haha.
Alright, this is the before (right) and after (left).
i knowit doesn't give a very big difference but c'mon makeup is about little and little difference make the look right?
Overall
I will still recommend it to
everyone because I actually really like it. And of cause I will definitely make
sure myself do a very clean makeup removing every time.
Actually in normal occasion I
will just skip the first step of using the pore minimize balm, only in occasion
such as photo shooting I will wear it. Since I don’t really have much obvious
pores so I think it is definitely fine right.
Overall, I will still rate it as
9 out of 10.
